Line 6 are doing some super cool stuff. I really dig the new X3 series PODs. I’m ordering a POD X3 Live myself. This thing is a POD XT, Bass POD XT, TonePort UX1.5, FBV Shortboard, and all the model packs rolled all into one unit. The thing I am most looking forward to is dual tones. Yes, you can run your guitar through two completely separate rigs with the new X3! That capability is what was making me lust for a Vetta for so many years. The tone should be identical to the XT family of products, they haven’t announced any changes there. This is not about a sonic upgrade for me, but a features upgrade. I have been wanting to step up to dual tone as well as a Variax digital input for quite some time. Kudos to Line 6!

The new TonePort UX8 is looking pretty sweet too. I may have to get one of those one day…

Looks like they changed the date to October 4. My Live is already on preorder. Drooling, drooling…
